Health and Safety Expertise
First and foremost, as construction experts we’d like to offer you our opinion.
Nothing is more important than the health and safety of everyone involved in a construction project.
Therefore, here at Southern Piling we are pleased to confirm that we are sub-contracted to McCormack Benson Health and Safety Ltd . This company works closely with us on our health and safety responsibilities, ensuring that we are fully compliant. And, that we stay that way.
Health and safety legislation changes regularly. For this reason, MBHS work with us to create and maintain a full series of management H&S processes. Importantly, we are able to stay up to date with developments. Because we operate within the letter of the law and can prove that we do so, we have an excellent safety record.
Southern Piling maintains the latest required updated documentation and with ongoing training, all staff are always aware of their workplace responsibilities, to keep themselves and others as safe as possible.
CSCS Cards for All Our Staff
Southern Piling trains its workforce to the highest safety standards. Each employee carries a CSCS card.
The Construction Skills Certification Scheme is the industry leader. Essentially, the scheme provides proof that an individual working on a construction site has all the required training and qualifications to do so.
We set high health and safety criteria with our Pump and Rig Operators . Each and every one of Southern Piling’s fully trained operators carries a CPCS card (Construction Plant Competence Scheme). Our staff always demonstrate a high level of professional competence and health and safety awareness.
Membership of the Federation of Master Builders
Southern Piling has full membership accreditation with the Federation of Master Builders. This not-for-profit organisation independently inspects all its members to provide proof of their quality and safety. In addition, we undertake regular inspections regarding health and safety.
